Here's what you need to do after you have created your Free Profile.

1... The main screen

After you successfully logged in, you're on the main screen

2... Make sure you Configure your Profile

Click on your Profile link in the header.

Enter your name and platform alias, select your logo if allowed, and enter the UTC Offset. This is important for you to see the correct date/times of games.
For example, Eastern Time Zone is usually -4 or -5 depending on whether Daily Savings Time is one or off.
You will know if your setting is incorrect if you see something like this, where it's obvious that you're off by an hour...
